D.K.L.4 5L

D.K.L. 4 is a special non-corrosive water softener with integrated indicator indicating the end of the descaling process.
D.K.L. 4 is a totally safe decalcification, and dissolves all deposits of limestone that temperature exchangers, condensers, evaporators and cooling circuits block or clog.
Safe for ferrous metals. For other metals such as copper, aluminum, brass or chrome,  rinse thoroughly.
Does not attack plastics and rubbers. Safe to use: no corrosive or toxic fumes.

Instructions:
For an inboard engine: provide 5 liters D.K.L.4 and 4 liters for an outboard motor.
The de-scaling is done with a solution of the product which we circulate sea water in the closed circuit of the motor.

1st phase: SCALE:
Dilute 3% D.K.L.4 fresh water (or 3 liters per 100 liters of water). The solution is colored red.
Run the engine about 15 to 30 minutes. Keep the temperature in the eye! As the limestone dissolves the color changes to grey-yellow.

Phase 2: CONTROL:
Restart the process with a new solution, making use of the remaining product. If the color remains red, the engine is decalcified. Empty and rinse.
Similarly, you can descale an outboard motor.

If you can't realize a closed circuit, Start the engine and stop when the solution leaves the exhaust. Let it sit for a few hours. Afterwards, drain and rinse, repeat if necessary.

For descaling parts:
Dissolve 1L DKL4 in 5L of water.
Submerge the parts in the solution. Leave on for several hours. Rinse thoroughly.
